These beautiful souls are no strangers to the camera. Having been able to document memorable moments in their lives, like family portraits, maternity shoots and now their surprise proposal, knowing them has been such a privilege. Their love is fun, passionate and authentic - which is evident in their gallery below!

What was supposed to be a styled engagement shoot ended up being a mission for Ant, Jasmine’s sister and myself — because Ant secretly planned to propose at the end of this styled shoot!!! For reference, he had already boughten the ring but for weeks, he just didn’t know how he would pop the question — and this styled engagement shoot was his perfect opportunity! So, as I was simultaneously planning their “styled engagement shoot” with Jasmine, we were also plotting behind her back and planning her surprise proposal!!!

I had us first shoot at the Quoin Hotel in Wilmington, DE. So happy we did because the hotel lobby, the bar areas, and the rooftop were such a statement for their portraits. (and they were able to enjoy a drink as I worked so it’s a win win!)

Then, came the outfit change and we used the city streets for this look — which was perfect. After photographing a few portraits nearby, Ant and I were so nervous because we knew that it was finally time to walk her up the parking garage towards the proposal set up. The walk towards the rooftop had me SHAKING, so I can only imagine how Ant was feeling! But, Jasmine was full of tears as she spotted the setup ahead of us and everything was perfect!
