eeek, i’m so happy you’re here!!
I can talk all day about how much I love being a wedding and portrait photographer, serving others, and the excitement I get of meeting new people but all of this should be a given! So instead, I’ll tell you a little bit more about who I am! You spend all day with your wedding photographer so it’s important to know our friendship is compatible! ☺
who am I
My name is Denise Alonzo. And it’s okay that you thought my name was Viva, I get that quite often lol!! I’m a proud Latina who comes from a family full of hardworkers and entrepreneurs! I’ve lived in Delaware most of my life — “Dela’where?!, Dela’who?!”
And quite frankly, this place is home. Most of my family reside here and here is where I’ve made lifelong friendships. 24 years young and I couldn’t be any more grateful with the life God has gifted me. I can never let a day go by where I don’t thank Him for the things I have and don’t have. — And I’m the biggest believer that no one can take away what God has destined for you!
what I like to do
Most of my loved ones have described me as a jack of all trades. I love learning new things and getting into new hobbies! My current obsession has been cooking new dishes. I’m challenging myself to perfect traditional Mexican dishes just like my mom and other relatives! Who knew making the perfect Mexican rice was so challenging?! I’ll keep you guys updated!
My perfect afternoon would consist of getting ice cream or drinking fresh agua de Piña during the warm summer, and then roller skating my life away to my favorite jams! (On repeat is, “Loving Tone” by Lucy Weid, listen to it and please tell me you love it too!!). Oh, and I’ve also been trying to dive into skin care more so I can age like fine wine.

Your wedding day (or portrait photoshoot) should run smooth and be enjoyable all at once. When you hire me, you get a professional who is a peoples person, a patience soul, and a friend you can lean on for help or advice. I have a strong background working in customer service; serving my clients is my top priority.
I’m prepared for those fast-paced, unpredictable environments, diverse family dynamics and anything else a wedding day can throw at me!
I would describe my photography as a perfect combination of journalism and raw emotion. I love creating art through my thoughtful composition and posing but I adore documenting candid moments as they roll out.
